Moor Otters Arts Trail is coming to Dartmoor on the 28th May 2021! π
Dates will be subject to Government restrictions lifting as outlined in the roadmap. We want to make sure that everyone is able to join the fun safely.
For those who don't know or who need a refresher, here's what Moor Otters is all about:
𦦠Moor Otters Arts Trail involves 81 stunning sculptures of otters with cubs - all designed and decorated by local and national artists β being placed around the National Park and places near Dartmoor.
π The trail aims to help people discover and learn more about the wild landscape of Dartmoor, all while raising money for its ongoing conservation and providing a boost for local businesses.
πΊοΈ There are four trails on Dartmoor, as well as the Mayflower Trail in Plymouth and several otters dotted around in towns and villages on the edge of the National Park.
ποΈ Trails are designed so people can safely explore Dartmoor on foot, bike, car or public transport and learn about the National Park as they go. There will be prizes and competitions too!
More information will be released as we get closer to the launch, so keep an eye out on our Moor Otters Arts Trail group and on our website π www.dartmoor.gov.uk/moorotters

Covidiots drove to Dartmoor because they 'don't like Taunton'
A GROUP of people from Taunton have been fined for heading to Dartmoor in breach of the Covid restrictions.Tedious click bait non journalism. Mention covidiots and you get a stream of daily mail types who's attention is diverted from immigration. Its the ultimate nimby.
Surely covered by the Govt. approved trip for eye testing?

The only Covidiots are those that support this assault on our freedoms. Britain fought for freedom in two world wars yet we allow our police to act like the east German Stasi and most of our politicians to endorse Orwellian like state control with a few notable exceptions such as Sir Desmond Swayne MP for New Forest. Yes the virus is a problem but the cure far worse.
There are some beautiful walks around Taunton
